Frequently Asked Questions
I have a ballot space, how can I run for you?
We would love to have you as part of Team IUCS, click the register now button at the top of the page and select "I have purchased my own space" on question "Do you require a charity space".
Where will the charity be on race day?
We will be located in the charity village on race day. We will send the confirmed stall in our pre-race emails once this has been confirmed. We will also have a team of cheerers on the route to help encourage you along the way.
What happens if I cannot hit the minimum fundraising target?
Our fundraising team are on hand to guide you through any fundraising worries. If you are concerned you may not hit the minimum target, please reach out to rebecca@ifucareshare.co.uk for more information.
Can I fundraise with a friend?
Yes absolutely, if there are two or more of you doing the run, then you can get together to raise your money. Just remember that sponsorship targets are per person.
If you are going to fundraise with a friend or as a team all we ask is that you let us know as soon as you can. Please contact rebecca@ifucareshare.co.uk
Can donations be match funded?
Yes! Match-funding is a great way for funders to help charities raise more money by promising to double or partially-match any funds that are raised. Match funding can come from a variety of places including a workplace, grant maker or philanthropist.
If you are interested in running for us you can always ask your employer if they offer matched funding.
If you are able to secure match funding and would like to help enhance your total raised please contact rebecca@ifucareshare.co.uk.

What our runners say
The atmosphere was unbelievable from start to finish. The support from If U Care Share made me feel part of a real community, the final mile was honestly the best part of the whole run. Crossing the line and heading to the charity village tent to celebrate with the team was the perfect ending to an amazing day.
How your money helps
Every donation makes a meaningful difference to people affected by suicide across our communities. Here’s how your support can help and ensure no one has to face the impact of suicide alone.
£35
Covers the cost of one counselling session. Most people need around eight sessions, meaning £280 can fund a full course of specialist support.
£100
Provides a full month of follow-up support for an individual or family bereaved by suicide.
£750
Can support someone throughout their entire journey with us, from the first phone call to ongoing emotional and practical support.
£1,000
Helps us deliver a school-wide suicide prevention programme, reaching around 150 young people with vital education and support.
£2,000
Contributes towards running a remembrance event such as Walk of Light, helping families come together to honour their loved ones.
