We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Corporate Partnerships & Bid Writing Officer to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Corporate Partnerships & Bid Writing Officer to help us grow our income, build lasting relationships with corporate supporters. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, preparing compelling bid proposals, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a vital part in expanding our organisation’s reach and securing new opportunities through effective bid management and partnership development.
Duties
You will play a key role in securing funding to sustain and expand our vital services. This includes:
- Identify and develop new corporate partnership opportunities aligned with organisational objectives
- Prepare, review, and submit high-quality bid proposals to secure funding and project opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and stakeholders to foster ongoing collaboration
- Utilise CRM software, including Monday.com, to track interactions, manage contacts, and monitor bid progress
- Coordinate internal teams to gather necessary information for bids and proposals
- Conduct market research to identify potential partners and funding sources
- Monitor industry trends and best practices related to partnership development and bid writing
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and funding requirements throughout the bidding process

- Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or partnership management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proficiency in CRM software; experience with Monday.com is desirable
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders

Support Officer
Location: Across the North East with time in our main office in Chester le Street and working from home.
Salary: Starting from £25,000
Hours: 1 FTE Monday to Friday 9-5

Use Your Lived Experiences and Professional Insights at the Frontline of Suicide Prevention to Support and Safeguard those at risk.
At If U Care Share Foundation, we believe suicide is preventable, and no one should face the loss of a loved one alone.
If U Care Share Foundation are recruiting a Support Officer to join their support team who work with people who are affected by suicide. As a support officer you will be providing immediate and appropriate ongoing support to those bereaved by suicide or at risk of suicide. The role will encompass and deliver on a number of key areas including one to one support, community response support and report writing. A high level of emotional robustness is required along with dynamic problem solving and critical thinking skills. An outcome/solution based approached to problem solving is essential.
If U Care Share Foundation is a non-profit charity that has been providing essential services aimed at prevention, intervention, and supporting those bereaved by suicide since 2005. The foundation was founded by Daniel O’Hare's brothers, Matthew and Ben, along with his cousin, Sarah, to support families who have been affected by suicide and to prevent similar tragedies from happening again.
Previous experience in a support role is preferred.
Role Priorities
- To provide appropriate ongoing support as directed, to those affected by suicide. This will be via face to face, online and telephone appointments.
- Complete related administrative tasks in a timely and proactive way complying with GDPR
- To identify and address social, practical and emotional needs relating to those being affected by suicide
- To manage crisis/emergency interventions to prevent suicide
- To assist with the production of service reports
- Develop relationships which will improve partnerships for IUCSF and the provision of service
- Represent IUCSF at statutory meetings, contribute to regional and local Suicide Prevention plans and, where appropriate, represent the Charity at National meetings or local events
- To work directly with supported people to deliver prevention and postvention support to those affected by suicide
- To support all areas of operational delivery when required
- Be responsible for collating and recording data required by funders or commissioners
- Proactive approach to personal development
- Flexibility to carry out other duties for IUCSF as and when required by management, not limited to the above
Essential Criteria
- An excellent knowledge and understanding around suicide bereavement and suicide prevention support needs
- Excellent information technology skills and the need to be trustworthy with data and personal information
- Emotional robustness
- Experience of dealing with dynamic situations requiring multi-tasking
- Safeguarding experience
- An ability to work independently under difficult circumstances
- Critical thinking skills while applying a calm and methodical approach
- Outcome and solution-based decision making
- An understanding of the needs, drive and passion around the subject matter
- Knowledge of the support issues affecting individuals and their mental wellbeing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and partner organisations
- Excellent administration skills
- A strong desire to help and support our work is essential as well as an ability to promote high standards that match the values of IUCSF
- Car owner with full clean driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of the affects/impact of suicide
- Experience and knowledge of working with adults and children who have been affected by suicide
- Experience of multi-agency working to provide support with social, practical and emotional needs
- Qualified to Level 3 or above or with relevant previous experience
- Lived and learned experience
- Lone working experience
Qualifications & Training
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent or relative experience
- Be willing to undergo Adult & Child Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity and Data Protection training
- Be willing to undergo completion of internal STOP training and/or other suicide intervention & prevention training
- Be willing to identify and undergo training and CPD when necessary or appropriate
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the prevalence of suicide
- Knowledge of how to access support for individuals who are affected by suicide
- Knowledge of mental health issues and the ability to recognise the signs and symptoms of a child, young person or adult in distress
- Knowledge of working with other agencies including housing providers, Coroners, Police, Drug & Alcohol services, Mental Health Services, Welfare rights and third sector non-statutory services
