Paul’s role as an If U Care Share Trustee 

Paul is a highly respected retired GP who dedicated his career to serving the community of Great Lumley, where he owned and led the local surgery. With many years of frontline experience in primary care, Paul developed a deep understanding of the complex physical and mental health challenges faced by individuals and families. 

Throughout his career, Paul has been recognised for his compassionate, patient-centred approach; building strong relationships within the community and providing trusted support to generations of patients. His leadership of the surgery ensured high standards of care and a responsive service tailored to local needs. 

Now a grandad and having been retired for 10 years, Paul continues to contribute his expertise and insight as a Trustee, bringing valuable clinical knowledge and a strong commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing. Appointed in 2019, his experience helps to shape the charity’s approach, ensuring services remain informed, effective and centred on those who need them most.
