Personal stories
Reading through our Personal Stories page is a way to remember people, paying tribute to some of the many lives lost to suicide. Here, families and friends can share stories and special memories about their loved ones.
When someone dies by suicide we can become focussed on their death, often replaying the final days or interactions we may have had, this can lead us to go deeper with grief. An important part of our support is helping those affected to remember the person who lived, the things they loved, the people they cared about, the causes that mattered to them or the everyday things like their favourite biscuit.
The stories here are to share those insights, those important memories, it’s also a way of honouring the lives of those we have lost, keeping their name, their face, their story, remembered, known, and loved.
