What do you do at If U Care Share?
I am the Suicide Prevention Support Manager

Why did you join If U Care Share?
I have been in other roles where I have seen first-hand, the destructive nature of suicide, I have personal experience of what it feels like to lose someone close to me. These two factors have led to my being at IUCSF.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Maldives, the sense of quiet and relaxation that seems to be there seems to draw me, I also travel to the Northumberland Coast a lot, despite the difference in tempretures!

What are some things that make you happy?
Lisa, My Wife. Maude, My Boxer dog. Photography. Newcastle United. Jammie Dodgers. Tea

What is your favourite biscuit and why?
Jammie Dodgers, the perfect Biscuit to dunk, not dunk, I currently hold a record of eating a packet in 26 seconds (tea dunking assisted)

Anything else you would like to share with the world?
I see the role as a mission, I have seen and felt what suicide does, its destructive nature and impact. I want to give as much as I can to reducing the suicide rates, helping those at risk and hopefully changing the viewpoint on how the problem is viewed, funded and effectively reduced in the long term.
