Shirley Takes A Leading Role In Suicide Prevention Conference

On the 19th of March our founder Shirley Smith spoke at Health Education England's Self Harm and Suicide Prevention Competency Frameworks Meeting in Parliament.

Shirley was joined by experts, academics and politicians from across the country and gave a presentation on the work that If U Care Share Foundation does in our region.

The Suicide Prevention Minister, Jackie Doyle Price MP also spoke at the meeting and praised If U Care Share and the work that Shirley is doing to raise awareness around suicide prevention and post-suicide bereavement care.

We look forward to attending more of these meetings in Parliament and continuing our valuable work advising government on its future strategies around suicide.
