Designed to create a culture within education that encourages and supports young people to talk openly about emotional and mental health. The sessions engage all students across every age group within a primary school setup.
Working with young people, teachers and mental health professionals, we have constructed a session which encourages young people to talk about the way they are feeling and emphasising that it is ‘OK not to feel OK’ and that ‘There is always a way’.
A more detailed, intensive workshop which aims to equip and empower young people with the skills needed to engage with these issues. The programme is aimed at 24 young people who have previously completed our initial EAMH workshop.
Initially created as a project for Premier League clubs, our Mental Health Awareness Training has now been rolled out to schools and businesses and is available to all adults over the age of 18. With a maximum of 25 delegates per course, MHAT is an intimate and informal session. Centring around lived experiences, case studies and engaging examples.
Research identifies that people affected by suicide maybe at increased risk of taking their own lives. Having supported over 900 people touched by suicide STOP utilises our knowledge and experience to educate people on how we can best support people that have lost someone to suicide, whilst also looking at the signs that someone may be thinking about taking their own life.
