SISTERS MEET WITH MINISTER

Sister’s Julie Garner & Shirley Smith (Dan’s Aunt & Mam) were invited to London to meet with Paul Burstow, Minister for Care for the launch of the consultancy period for the National Suicide Prevention Strategy. IUCSF Shirley Smith is a member of the Advisory Group for the Strategy. IUCSF are pleased to see the Strategy includes support for people bereaved by suicide, and is also very proud to be used as a resource in the Strategy. Shirley travels back to London in October as a member of the Advisory Group.
