We are deeply honoured that Micah has elected for If U Care Share to benefit from part of the proceeds raised from his new MR2 clothing line. This will go some way to allow us to achieve our main aim of delivering lessons in Schools etc
that talking can make a difference & that there is always a way.
If U care share was set up in memory of Daniel O’Hare who took his own life in March 2005. His brother Matthew then aged 10-years along with his cousin Sarah, 13, felt that people needed to be aware of the impact of Suicide in young men & the importance of remaining emotionally well. They designed a wristband that carries Dan’s name & the message “If U Care Share” - this is the wristband that Micah now wears.
As Suicide is now the one of the main causes of death in young men aged 15-28 years in this country, more needs to be done. This is why we are delighted & honoured to have Micah on board in order to raise the awareness of this issue amongst our target group.
If U Care Share are also working on ways to support families affected by Suicide offering practical & emotional support and the opportunity to speak with others who have suffered the loss of a loved one to Suicide.
We feel this is an exciting development for both parties and would like to wish Micah the best of luck in his latest venture.
