Fundraising

Saturday 12th Nov saw first IUCSF Casino Evening. Brilliant night and evening was sell out. The event was so well attended and we would like to thank everyone for digging deep. The Sunderland Lions Club - put together a fabulous evening for everyone and Tables  from Black Jack to the Glamorous Dollies “Doing their dealing” on the “Play Your Cards Right” table. 

Thank you to all that donated prizes and supported our charity.

The Pies & Pasties were kindly donated Greggs Bakers & we owe a huge thank you to Martin Burgess and everyone at Greggs for their kindness. To All the people who helped put the evening together: Marie & Gowin, Linda & Michelle for their tremendous work on the Bar – keeping the thirsty folk going was no mean task.!Heather for working throughout.

Thanks to Mary, Maureen & Peter for rolling their sleeves up and helping out.  To the children that helped on the day, Matthew, Ben, Conner, Matthew, & little Callum.

The biggest thanks has to go to our  Fundraiser and Events Manager Steven Rowell. Steven arranged the event, supported by his better half – Anita ( Treasurer for our Charity).  Steven did everything from printing tickets to getting the prizes.  An amazing achievement and we all had a great night. He managed to raise through the event over £1000 and we will give a confirmed amount after the final deductions for room hire etc are made. On behalf of fellow Trustees and everyone at IUCSF we would like to thank everyone involved. A full list of supporters of the evening will be posted at same time.
